Welcome!To the Kelvin Seventh-day Adventist Church. |
Wanna be part of the Music Day Programme on the 17th of April 2010? Click here to be incuded.
Our theme for the year is: “One voice, One sound, One Ministry”
Theme Verse: II Chronicles 5:13 - 14 The Music Department leads the Kelvin SDA church congregation in worship through excellent and uplifting music in preparation of the heavenly choir we are so longing to join.
It is true that hymns are portable pieces of theology that throws us a lifeline when we need it, if we don’t hide them in our hearts before we think we need them, they will not be there to serve when we do.
In 2009, one of our objectives is to share with you information about the authors of the hymns we sing as well as the circumstances in which these hymns were written. This will help us relate better to the songs as we understand the authors thoughts.
The first quarter of year the church is studying the 10 Commandments, the theme being - Trust and Obey. We saw it fitting that the first song to share with you be “Trust and Obey” by John H Sammins which is our theme song for the quarter.
